Analyst - Principal Analyst (Retail Branch)

You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for:

1. Formulating effective policies and regulations to ensure a competitive and sustainable retail electricity market where consumer interests are protected
2. Planning and managing multi-year projects in relation to the implementation of retail market development.
3. Surveillance of the retail electricity market to monitor market performance, industry trends, and ensure that policies are effective and electricity retailers are adhering to regulatory requirements.
4. Manage consumer queries and complaints relating to the Open Electricity Market

This role requires you to regularly engage with multiple stakeholders, including electricity retailers, businesses, and household consumers. Performing quantitative analysis and drafting compelling policy papers will be a central part of your work.

Requirements:

You should have:

• strong knowledge or experience in economics, business administration, or engineering related fields.
• excellent analytical abilities with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• be a positive team player yet also be able to work independently.
• preferably have at least one year of experience in public policy or energy related fields
• preferably have experience in performing data analytics using tools such as PowerBI, or Python
