Project Engineer

PROJECT ENGINEER

(PSG/ Electrical/ Fire/ ACMV)

Responsibilities:

• Project coordination and supervision of site installation, testing and commissioning.
• Prepare Project Schedule, milestone report, catalogues, and OMM submission.
• Schedule and monitor program activity to achieve on-time results and follow-up with suppliers/vendors.
• Understand project execution with adherence to code of practice and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Review and ensure all project components such as labor, materials, equipment, and overheads are budgeted for in the cost estimate for optimal cost control.
• Quantity take-off for pre-construction planning and cost control, as well as collaboration with the Quantity Surveying (QS) team on variation order preparation.
• Preparation of design construction drawings with documented compliance checks, adherence to clients' specifications, design change assessment for variation requests, and design considerations for safety and maintenance access.
• Liaise with all parties involved in the project including Local Authorities, Consultants, Architects, Main Contractors, Sub-contractors, and Suppliers.
• Attend site meetings and inspections.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• 2-3 years working experience in a similar position with relevant design and installation knowledge or understanding the full spectrum of tender costing with experience in evaluation and cost estimation.
• Ability to work independently in a challenging and demanding environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
