GUEST SERVICES ASSISTANT (DOORMAN / BELLMAN)

About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Singapore within the Concierge Department, the Guest Services Assistant is responsible for assisting guests with luggage handling, deliveries, errands, flag duties, and lobby services to ensure smooth arrivals and departures while maintaining excellent guest service and standards. The Guest Services Assistant reports to the Chef Concierge.

As Guest Services Assistant (Doorman / Bellman), you will be responsible for the following duties:

  1. Handle guests' luggage on arrivals, departures, and storage
  2. Do internal dispatch of mails / faxes / items
  3. Collect delivered items from Security/ Purchasing Department
  4. Perform packing service of guests' items
  5. Hoisting/Lowering of flags when necessary
  6. Control the canopy lights at the driveway daily & as necessary
  7. Do outside errands / taking guests to destinations (e.g., clinic / shops)
  8. Assist guests with luggage while at the lobby
  9. Open doors at the lobby / assist with the elevators
