Director of Investor Relations

An Asia based fund management company founded in 2000 with offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, and London that invests in pan-Asia long only equities focused on small and mid-caps is looking to hire a Director of Investor Relations. The position is based in the Singapore office. The investment strategy is a fundamentals-driven, “private equity” approach to APAC public markets. The firm today has approximately US$3 billion in AUM managed on behalf of institutional clients primarily from the US and Europe.

Qualifications:

1. 10+ years of combined experience in either an equivalent role at a peer fund manager, large asset manager, or a capital introduction team
2. Strong foundation in fund management and ability to speak with depth on investments
3. Proven experience in a core investor relations role with ability to handle direct client engagement at a senior level
4. Outgoing / personable / well-spoken and able to interact successfully with our global investor base in person and via phone / Zoom / written communications
5. Ability to liaise well with internal teams as the role will work closely with compliance, finance, operations, and the investment team
6. Several years having worked / lived / studied in an English-speaking country preferred
7. Fluent level written and spoken English
8. Strong Excel skills

Role:

1. Reporting to the President fundraising activities with prospective investors, managing one-off investor requests from existing clients, managing investor meetings and calls, and primary responsibility for all marketing activities and external client engagement

The firm is open to candidates who are available on a full-time or part-time basis.
