Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Senior Talend Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) solutions using Talend for various data integration and migration projects. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data architects, and other developers to ensure seamless data flow and high-quality insights.

• Design and develop ETL workflows and data pipelines using Talend.
• Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Optimize Talend jobs for performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business users to define data integration requirements.
• Troubleshoot data issues, debugging, and resolving performance bottlenecks.
• Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.
• Support data migration projects and ensure seamless transitions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

ABOUT YOU

• 5+ years of experience in ETL development with a focus on Talend.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and database management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
• Experience working with cloud-based data solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) is a bonus.
• Familiarity with API integrations and RESTful web services.
• Ability to work in an agile development environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills in English.
