Design Manager (Construction)

A highly experienced and skilled Design Manager with a minimum of 10 years of civil engineering or architecture experience, post-tertiary education and hold professional status. The candidate should have a proven track record of managing design teams on projects for large scale of Design & Build nature of building and infrastructure. The Design Manager must be well-versed with regulatory agencies’ requirements and standards.

Role Responsibilities:

• Leading the Design teams at a major building and infrastructural project, providing the technical and design lead, and ensuring that design coordination/solutions are optimized, fulfilling the requirements of the project and client.
• Managing the overall process from developing, organizing and executing quality design coordination, meeting the requirements and specifications. Your design coordination on all disciplines must be timely for shop drawing preparation, submission and approval.
• Handling the consultants and client’s representatives with an integrated multi-disciplinary approach, ensuring complete integration to the overall project requirements and building authority compliance.
• Scheduling of the FF & E in the projection work.

Role Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by PE's Board, with at least 10 years of design coordination/designing working experience in major local building and infrastructural projects.
• Substantial experience in various construction projects both in design and project execution.
• Other certifications relating to design.
• Highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, 3D Max, and MS Office, using BIM in design work.
• Able to articulate well and make good presentations.
