Site Technical Officer (EHV Cable Project)

Location: Western side of Singapore and Jurong Island

Terms: Contract (extendable and renewable)

Project Details:

• SPPG Extra High Voltage (EHV) transmission cable project.
• Project location: Singapore (including Jurong Island)
• To supervise project trial hole works on LTA road related to excavation, shoring, temporary traffic diversion work, safety, and health control measures etc.

Responsibilities:

• Provide full-time stand in site supervision for SPPG Extra High Voltage cable transmission project trial hole works related to excavation, shoring, temporary traffic diversion work, safety, and health control measures.
• Ensure compliance to all engineering plans/drawings, method of statements / Risk Assessment and technical specifications.
• Attend/Conduct daily site toolbox meeting and site safety workshop.
• Prepare daily progress reports as per SPPG requirements for the project.
• Report any non-compliance to project engineer.
• Coordinate with contractors for project site implementation.
• Ensure site compliance to government health and safety policies.
• Ensure that contractor and their subcontractors comply with SPPG’s safety requirements.
• Submit weekly timesheet.

Requirements:

• The Site Technical Officer (STO) shall have minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in projects similar in nature to the works.
• The STO shall have Electrical & Civil Diploma or relevant experience.
• Experience in the following areas will be additional advantage -Have site supervision experiences of contractor works for SPPG 66kV, 230kV and 400kV cable projects, Familiarize with civil temporary shoring design, obtained MOM safety training certificate.
