Obtains project certification of the HVDC Offshore Substation according to [Applicable document] and is responsible to carry out any activities or produce any deliverables needed to obtain this certification.
Adheres to the Company and Certifying Authority as contracted by the Company to certify the HVDC Offshore Substation in accordance with [Applicable documents] during all phases of the project.
Ensures that the certificate of compliance from the Certifying Authority is obtained before 'Taking Over' the project.
Submits the design documents via the Common Data Environment (CDE) for approval by the Certifying Authority, based on the [Applicable document] to obtain the required HVDC Offshore Substation certification.
Prepares all required documentation as stipulated in [Applicable Document] and according to the different phases as described in [Applicable Document] to receive the project certificate.
Responsible for any other certification or (type) approval by independent certification bodies, necessary to fulfill the Company's Requirements and not directly related to the project certification of the HVDC Offshore Substation.
Manages and coordinates all activities directly with the Certification Authority, but shall at all times include the Employer in any communication, interaction or meeting between the Contractor and the Certifying Authority.
Communicates directly with the Certification Authority but always with the Employer in carbon copy (Cc).
Cooperates and allows the Certification Authority at any time access to site(s) and premises, including those of its subcontractors and suppliers, for the purpose of audits, inspecting construction work and participating in testing for the certification process.
Allows the Certifying Authority on site access to all documentation (e.g. NDT records, material certificates, measurement reports or any other document).
Organizes and minutes weekly status meetings (e.g. video calls) with the Certifying Authority to control the process.
Organizes a kick-off meeting with the Employer and Certifying Authority for the Certification process.
Invites the Certifying Authority to all relevant events or inspections in a timely manner and coordinates the process of inspection notifications towards the Certifying Authority.
Involves the Certifying Authority in the HAZIDs, HAZOPs and FMECAs. If further involvement of the Certifying Authority is needed to obtain the project certification the Contractor shall also be responsible.
Attends any meeting with the Certifying Authority if requested by the Company.
Keeps detailed minutes of every meeting held with the Certifying Authority and Company and submits these for review within two business days.
Prepares and distributes weekly overviews with the status of each document in the certification process.
Prepares a detailed document submission schedule and planning for the Certifying Authority to schedule the works in an efficient manner.
Prepares the agreement with the Certifying Authority and Employer about what exact documents need to be issued to the Certifying Authority during the early start of the project.
Complies with the agreed review-and-update periods as defined in the project contract.
Submits all inspection and test plans to the Certifying Authority.
Manages an audit schedule of the fabrication yard(s) with the Certifying Authority and the Employer early during the project to conduct audits after contract signing.
