Project Engineer (Fire Fighting System/Building/Marine)
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee projects related to fire fighting systems.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.
- Review and analyze project requirements and design specifications.
- Provide technical expertise and support in the selection and procurement of fire fighting equipment and systems.
- Prepare project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and deliverables.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors for installation, commissioning, and testing of fire fighting systems.
- Prepare project documentation and reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Experience in project engineering, preferably in fire fighting systems.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations related to fire fighting systems.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software.
