Printing Artworker / Designer (Junior/Senior) (West)

Working location: Boon Lay
Work hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours

- 1 year contract + 1 month completion bonus
- Monthly incentive

Job scope

1. Prepress artwork and layout, printing with finished deliverables.
2. Lay out jobs for printing using various graphics software applications, focusing on Adobe Illustrator (AI) for technical layout work.
3. Validate all data to ensure it meets the proper production requirements, followed by creating proofs and producing artwork samples using label materials and finally sending the samples to the customer for approval.
4. Prepare digital files for print production, optimize layouts, adjust color profiles, and resolve technical issues to ensure high quality printed materials.
5. Collaborate with the customer and operations team to facilitate a smooth transition from digital design to the final print product.
6. Perform final checks to ensure text and images are flawless before printing.
7. Solve problems and manage color to deliver high-quality finished product.
8. Operate digital label printing and finishing machines.
9. Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance tasks, such as clearing jams, changing rollers, replacing toner and maintaining clean environment.

Requirements

1. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office applications.
2. Possesses verbal and written communication skills.
3. Pleasant disposition, strong customer service-oriented mindset, positive working attitude.
4. Meticulous and organized.
