Software Engineer (Java)

We are actively recruiting a highly skilled and experienced Java Software Engineer to join a dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to the development of a critical, strategically significant project.

As a member of this team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the project's direction and ensuring its successful delivery.

Responsibilities

• Adapt to evolving technologies and frameworks to contribute to the development of Retail Banking solutions
• Collaborate with teammates and engage with third-party vendors to ensure successful project delivery
• Regularly attend meetings with client managers and the development team to discuss project progress and requirements
• Utilize strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and provide updates to stakeholders
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for tackling new tasks and overcoming obstacles
• Embrace a culture of continuous learning, quickly adapting to new tools, languages, and methodologies
• Participate in developing solutions from scratch based on input from analysts and product owners
• Undertake research and development activities to explore innovative solutions and technologies
• Contribute to a feature factory mentality, continuously delivering new functionalities and improvements to the project

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 7+ years of overall experience, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated to Java development
• Extensive expertise in Java, JavaScript, software engineering practices, Spring and Spring Core
• Proven experience with Kafka and AWS
• Deep proficiency in Java development, including familiarity with relevant frameworks and emerging technologies
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team of 6-10 members
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and development teams
• Proactive, enthusiastic approach to problem-solving
• Passion for exploring new technologies and innovations
