As an Assistant Manager, Finance, you will be a key player in supporting the organization and Retail unit with a focus on financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, and process optimization. Role Overview:

The Assistant Manager, Finance will support the Finance Director in managing financial matters within the organization and the Retail unit. This includes overseeing weekly sales performance analysis, generating reports for Brands, ensuring proper cash and inventory controls, and driving process improvements. You will also play a key role in liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Reporting & Performance Analysis: Oversee weekly sales performance reporting, including trend analysis, cost management, and identification of opportunities to improve margins and reduce costs.
  2. Data Organization & Reporting: Organize and analyze data from multiple sources to support retail reporting, projects, and initiatives. Ensure all reports are accurate and submitted on time.
  3. Billing & Reconciliation: Work with Shared Services to generate monthly billings to Brands, perform sales reconciliation, and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  4. Cash & Inventory Control: Work closely with the retail team and E-commerce team to ensure effective cash management and control over cash equivalents.
  5. Bank Relations & Payment Systems: Administer and manage relationships with bank merchants, handling changes in payment modes and the introduction of new payment systems.
  6. Process Improvements: Proactively recommend and support improvements to tools, systems, and processes related to retail financial analysis.
  7. Operational Efficiency: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and streamline financial processes within the retail function.
  8. Audit Support: Lead the retail audit process and serve as the primary contact for external auditors.

Prerequisites:

  1. Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer or other related Studies.
  2. Proven experience in financial analysis, statistical analysis, and financial forecasting.
  3. Strong attention to detail with an ability to identify data patterns and trends.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  5. A hands-on team player with the ability to collaborate across functions.
  6. Creative problem-solver with a can-do attitude and ability to work independently.
  7. Highly motivated with a results-driven approach, capable of managing tight deadlines.
  8. Ability to multitask and navigate a demanding, fast-paced environment while providing timely solutions to challenges.
  9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  10. Knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
