To work alongside with research & development team in new product innovations, evaluation and improvement of existing product and protocol, researching on soy products and soy pulps as well as new technology and supporting food safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Work with R&D team in the implementation of new products, R&D trials, processes, and improvements.
Assist in scaling up new food products from lab prototypes to full-scale production. Responsible for successful scale up and first production
Conduct research for transforming food waste (in particular; okara) into usable food products and develop efficient methodology in drying of food waste.
Assist in fulfilling projects - creating prototypes according to customer brief or based on concepts or internal ideations. Activities include, preparing materials, experimental design, replicating of samples, sensory evaluation, documentation work etc.
Perform analytical test as per requested. Example moisture test, soya bean soluble and insoluble evaluation.
Conduct ad-hoc research on latest technologies on food equipment’s. Example, paper review of specific technologies.
Report to: Factory Manager & R&D/ Product Specialist
Requirement:
Minimum Diploma in Food Science / Food Technology /Research and Development (R&D) or equivalent
Minimum 2-3 years of experiences in the related field is required.
