Job Duties:
Assist fleet vessels with maintenance management of electrical/electronic/electro-hydraulic or electro-pneumatic/automation systems.
Review and submit planned maintenance schedules of electrical/electronic/electro-hydraulic or electro-pneumatic/automation systems/power generation/backup power source/fire detection system to Technical Manager.
Guide onboard engineers on electrical tasks.
Troubleshoot equipment failures and provide fault diagnosis.
Advise on shore assistance and spare part procurement.
Conduct onboard attendance and provide weekly reports.
Identify areas for improvement and recommend modifications.
Contribute to knowledge sharing across fleets.
Support incident investigations and dry docking planning.
Participate in continuous improvement of departmental procedures.
Requirements:
2 years of experience as Electrical-Technical Officer (ETO) on sea-going vessels
Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) compliant
Strong electrical background in oil, gas or chemical tankers or offshore support vessels (tertiary education in Electrical or Electronic)
Hands-on experience with electrical power distribution, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Proficient in troubleshooting & fault diagnosis skills related to electrical, instrumentation, automation & control, including air conditioning and ventilation systems.
Familiarity with shipping industry regulations.
