Safety Officer

Job Scope:

• Managing WSH for the company
• Reporting directly to senior management on safety related matters and improvements
• SHMS internal audits based on requirements
• Technical discussions with consultants including Professional Engineers on various addition and alteration works related to structures and fire safety
• Manage Emergency Response Plans and ERT for the company
• Regular on-site inspections to identify lapses and propose corrective actions
• Prepare/Review Safety plans, Risk assessments, and Safe work procedures
• Upkeep Change Request Documentations and Management of Change
• Trainings and Organizational Development
• Lead investigations on near misses, incidents, and accidents, and implement CAPA to prevent re-occurrences
• Conduct emergency response drills and table top exercises as per SCDF requirements

Requirement:

• Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM is a must
• Degree or diploma in Engineering, Management, or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year working experience as a HSE officer
• Experience in Food/Manufacturing is preferred
