E-Commerce Manager

Award-winning medical device startup (GyroGear.co) has an opening for a skilled E-Commerce Manager based in Singapore. We are developing intelligent wearable devices to stabilise hand tremors for 200 million people globally.

As an E-Commerce Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end management of our e-commerce platforms, develop strategies to drive sales, and optimize the customer journey. You will play a critical role in achieving revenue growth, ensuring seamless operations, and maintaining a strong brand presence online.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for a E-Commerce Manager whose responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. E-Commerce Strategy and Management
    1. Develop and execute a robust e-commerce strategy to drive online sales, growth, and profitability.
    2. Manage the end-to-end e-commerce operations, ensuring a smooth and engaging online customer journey.
    3. Oversee all e-commerce platforms, including product listings, pricing, promotions, and website performance.
    4. Identify emerging market trends and implement innovative strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  2. Digital Marketing Integration
    1. Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and implement SEO, SEM, email campaigns, and social media strategies to drive traffic and conversions.
    2. Optimize campaigns to maximize ROI and improve the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
    3. Leverage data to understand customer behavior and design targeted campaigns that enhance engagement and retention.
  3. Customer Experience Optimization
    1. Enhance the digital shopping experience by refining navigation, search functionality, and checkout processes.
    2. Ensure the e-commerce platform is optimized for mobile and multi-device usage.
    3. Develop and implement customer service protocols to resolve inquiries and enhance satisfaction.
  4. Operations, Logistics, and Inventory Management
    1. Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure efficient inventory management and timely order fulfillment.
    2. Monitor inventory levels and implement demand forecasting to minimize overstock or shortages.
    3. Streamline order processing and delivery systems to improve operational efficiency.
  5. Performance Tracking and Analytics
    1. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as website traffic, conversion rates, cart abandonment, and customer lifetime value.
    2. Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Power BI) to generate actionable insights.
    3. Report regularly on e-commerce performance and recommend data-driven improvements.
  6. Platform Management and Development
    1. Work with web development teams to ensure the platform is functional, up-to-date, and visually appealing.
    2. Implement new technologies and features to improve user experience and streamline backend operations.
    3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
  7. Team Leadership and Collaboration
    1. Build and lead a high-performing e-commerce team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
    2. Partner with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, logistics, and customer service, to align on goals and priorities.
    3. Train and mentor team members to ensure professional growth and alignment with business objectives.
  8. Vendor and Third-Party Management
    1. Manage relationships with third-party marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Lazada, Shopee) and external vendors.
    2. Negotiate favorable terms and ensure compliance with contracts to maximize profitability.
    3. Monitor third-party performance and ensure alignment with brand standards.
  9. Compliance and Risk Management
    1. Ensure all e-commerce activities comply with legal regulations, including data protection and payment security standards.
    2. Mitigate risks related to online transactions and customer data through regular audits and updates.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-Commerce, or related fields.
  2. 5+ years of experience in e-commerce management, digital marketing, or a related role.
  3. Proven success in developing and executing e-commerce strategies that drive sales growth.
  4. Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce.

Technical Skills

  1. Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI) to track and interpret key metrics.
  2. Advanced knowledge of SEO, SEM, PPC, email marketing, and social media advertising.
  3. Familiarity with payment gateways, security protocols, and compliance standards.
  4. Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, web development basics, and mobile optimization.
