Driver / Warehouse Assistant

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Main duties (as Driver):

• Send documents such as reports, invoices to customers.
• Collect or deliver samples to customers or vendors.
• Send or pick up colleagues from site jobs.
• Be responsible for good working condition of the vehicle.
• Cannot drive vehicle back home.

2. Secondary Duties (as Warehouse Assistant)

• Samples receiving from Customers
• Loading and unloading of the metal samples by using a forklift
• Allocate and prepare samples (unboxing, repositioning, labelling) for the next process.
• Verify sample identification matches the client request or client documentation
• Send/ collect the samples to or from the workshop department
• Set up a good storage place and system to track samples
• Proper labeling and storage of samples from Customers
• Prepare sample to be returned - wrap and pack samples
• Liaise with Test Dept to consolidate tested specimens for return to Customers
• Other ad-hoc duties as required by the head of department

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Have a class 3 Driving license
• Have at least 1 year of relevant working experience in metal industrial
• Preferably with a forklift license (added advantage but not compulsory)
• A keen learner with good communication skills
• Customer-orientated and attentive to details
• Able to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Can-do attitude (willing to go the extra mile in fulfilling the assigned task)
• Tidy and organized
