COMPANY DESCRIPTION

We are one of the largest one-stop Underground Utilities Infrastructure companies based in Singapore. We provide Underground Utilities Infrastructure construction and maintenance, sewer pipeline rehabilitation, road and airfield construction and maintenance as well as asphalt pre-mix production and construction waste recycling.

DESIGNATION: Draftsman (Contract)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create detailed design drawings for road works, expressways, and road facilities using AutoCAD and BrisCAD software. Ensure designs meet project standards and regulations.
• Prepare Traffic Control Plans following the Land Transport Authority (LTA) Code of Practice to manage traffic during road works.
• Work with the project team to understand the project requirements and ensure designs align with the overall goals.
• Complete design tasks on time and meet project deadlines.
• Attend client meetings when needed to discuss design progress and resolve technical issues.
• Handle tasks independently, solving design challenges with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate with the Project Coordinator to track and manage shop drawing approvals.
• Work with consultants and authorities to resolve design issues and implement changes.
• Attend site meetings to discuss design issues and provide technical support.
• Maintain and organize all design drawings for easy traceability, and ensure proper version control.
• Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor or HOD.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidate must possess minimum a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• One year contract term.
• Proficiency skills in Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and BrisCAD.
• Preferably specialized in LTA road work projects is an advantage.
