Group/Division

KLA's Global Products Group (GPG) creates all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products. The Surfscan group includes engineers and technology development teams focused on enabling wafer, IC and equipment manufacturers to develop, qualify, and monitor their process tools. The flagship Surfscan products include the SPx platforms for wafer surface quality and defect inspection tools.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

• Lead a team of applications engineers worldwide, ensuring effective resource allocation to projects that support business goals.
  • Collaborate with departments and regions to ensure seamless integration and alignment on project plans or troubleshooting.
  • Drive the adoption of new products and features, creating use cases for continuous improvement in application solutions.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee product lifecycle phases in applications characterization requirements.
  • Demonstrate new tool capabilities to drive penetration via customer demos or workshops.
  • Analyze and address technical issues or gaps to improve system performance and user experience.
  • Mentor and train engineers, ensuring development in technical aspects and project/customer management.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative environment within and across teams and departments.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's / Master's Degree in engineering, semiconductor technology or related field.
• 10 years of technical experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably in inspection, metrology, or process tools in applications space.
• Familiar with the semiconductor ecosystem with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
