Director, Treaty (Korea & South East Asia)

What the day will look like

  • Perform the role of Client Account Manager providing expert advice to clients with in-depth knowledge of risks and the reinsurance market, including responsibility for specific treaty renewals and assignments.
  • Identify and determine client requirements and provide access to relevant Reinsurance Solutions.
  • Engage with clients and prospects at senior management and executive level.
  • Establish relationships in strategic client positions – act in the interest of the clients and offer products from more than one reinsurer to ensure that the clients get the best service & agreement.
  • Identify and manage new business opportunities and targets.
  • Maintain professional reinsurance network.
  • Establish relationships with internal worldwide account executives to ensure regular information flow.
  • Keep abreast of industry and professional development to ensure services provided remain best practice.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • 10+ years relevant experience in Reinsurance Solutions.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English; additional languages will be an added advantage.
  • Possess excellent oral, written, interpersonal, presentation and marketing skills.
  • Attention to detail, pro-active and results oriented.
  • Possess strong negotiation skills.
  • Possess good analytical mind with strong business acumen.
  • Ability to develop and maintain business relationships.
  • Willing to work hard to deliver results.
