Responsibilities:
- Drive Regional Sales & Operations planning execution for Surgical Franchise in APAC Region to achieve optimal service levels to customers.
- Responsible for demand management, S&OP, Inventory, and Service Level processes in the specified region.
- Lead regional Sales & Operations process through collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams.
- Act as the single point of contact for regional commercial teams for all supply chain related topics including demand and supply management, transportation, and W&D.
- Define regional S&OP strategy, priorities, resources, and performance management (inventory, service, forecast accuracy, costs).
- Ensure optimal balance between customer service levels and inventory asset utilization through the S&OP process.
- Resolve Inventory and Service Level issues with Commercial and Global Supply Planning.
- Implement forecast accuracy reporting and drive improvements with key local and regional stakeholders.
- Establish/coordinate Stock Availability reporting and drive improvements with key stakeholders.
- Overview allocation processes on items on short supply to optimize demand fulfillment.
- Ensure proactive product availability reporting and shortages risk communication to impacted markets, coordinate mitigation plans with local stakeholders.
- Coordinate product launches with the Global and regional Product Life Cycle management team.
- Drive S&OP process continuous improvements and local implementation of these improvements.
- Provide agreed regional strategic volume plan (long term demand planning) as the input for the global strategic operational (capacity and annual budgeting) planning.
- Monitor and steer SAP IBP functionalities development in the region to ensure implementation of advanced forecasting technologies.
- Recruit, manage, develop, coach, and evaluate direct and functional reports.
- Sponsor/Steer key supply chain strategic projects (Planning, W&D, IT, Order Management).
- Ensure adherence to NFCM & SOX controls for all tasks including financial monthly closing schedule.
Education (minimum/desirable):
Bachelor Degree/ Master’s Degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering, or applicable years of experience combined with high school degree.
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years in supply chain planning and/or supply chain positions (including 7 years in a management role in supply chain or planning function).
Extensive experience in a viable supply chain planning process managing a large product portfolio in regional capacity, preferably from the Medical Device Industry.
Interaction with cross-functional teams and working with all levels of the management team.
Knowledge and experience in forecasting software and demonstrated proficiency in Excel.
Languages:
Fluency in English essential. Knowledge/Fluency of at least one other language preferred.
