Job Summary

Are you looking for a meaningful opportunity in Sales? Based in Singapore, we are seeking a Sales Director to lead sales for Isolation Valves (ISV) business unit (part of Final Control business group) for Asia Pacific. The role will report directly to Isolation Valves VP & GM of Asia Pacific and work closely with country ISV sales leaders, channel partners, business development managers and SBU teams to drive order performance for ISV Asia Pacific.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  1. Develop & implement growth strategies across the ISV product portfolio in alignment with regional sales leadership.
  2. Manage the entire sales/pursuit process that focuses on selectivity, improves price realization, and reduces execution risks.
  3. Effectively manage funnel of opportunities to drive productivity of sales, business development teams and inside sales.
  4. Be the pursuit leader on select strategic opportunities and work collaboratively with platform & other BU pursuit leaders to increase ISV BU’s chances of winning business.
  5. Develop & nurture high level relationships with strategic accounts to ensure long term success of ISV business.
  6. Develop & implement strategies to aggressively grow MRO & lifecycle services in each region with focus on driving higher yield from the installed base, improving quote service levels, and improving price realization.
  7. Develop & implement channel strategies to improve participation & productivity in key regions across AP and regularly undertake actions to improve channel effectiveness.
  8. Work collaboratively with SBU’s (strategic business units) for new product launches, driving tiering strategies across the portfolio, addressing product gaps, and improving price realization.
  9. Provide monthly, quarterly and yearly orders forecasts.
  10. Drive regional sales teams’ performance to meet/exceed financial commitments and forecasts.
  11. Attract & develop talent with a long-term view of ensuring talent availability for key sales roles.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering or related discipline.
  2. 8-10 years of sales experience with at least 5 years of Sales management experience. Proven track record of driving sales processes from plan to close.
  3. Well-versed with automation technologies in process industries.
  4. Ability to coach, mentor and guide regional sales leaders in formulating Go-To-Market, pursuit strategies, and driving returns from the installed base.
  5. Demonstrable track record of delivering results.
  6. Ability to balance strategic and tactical priorities to drive near-mid term and long-term success of the business.
  7. Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  8. A coach and talent developer who sets clear expectations, provides ongoing feedback, and motivates team to reach their highest potentials. Resourceful in improving resources to enhance overall effectiveness and exceed POR commitments.
