Director, Regional Finance Controller

About Our Client:

Our client is a thriving SME in the B2C industry, set for substantial growth with backing from private equity investors. As they expand regionally and standardize their processes, they are seeking a dynamic Regional Financial Controller to lead the charge. This role offers the unique opportunity to work closely with the co-founders, driving process improvements and ensuring robust financial management as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management and Reporting: Oversee the accuracy and compliance of regional financial statements and reports. Manage external audits, streamline the consolidation of financial statements, and provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
2. Process and Systems Transformation: Lead the standardization and enhancement of financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Evaluate and upgrade financial systems to align with business growth and ensure smooth integration and data accuracy.
3. Team Leadership and Collaboration: Guide and develop a regional finance team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Collaborate directly with the co-founders to shape financial strategies and drive effective execution.

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred.
2. Experience: Minimum of 15 years in finance with substantial experience in financial controlling, process transformation, and systems management. Proven success in financial consolidation.
3. Skills: Strong leadership with a hands-on approach suited to a growing B2C business. Excellent strategic thinking, communication skills, and attention to detail.
4. Language Skills: Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred, as it is crucial for effective communication and coordination with Hong Kong entities and will support smooth regional operations.
