Director, Product Development - Major Asset Manager

A Major Asset Manager is looking to hire an experienced investment professional in a product development role. This is a new headcount in support of business growth.

Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity to drive new product development of private market funds from conceptualization, design, development, through to successful product launch. This involves understanding the Firm's capabilities, assessing investment feasibility and understanding commercial viability. As a key liaison in the entire ecosystem, you will co-ordinate product development and strategy, working closely with investment, sales, risk, legal and various internal stakeholders towards new product launches. You will oversee and support existing product modifications and implement changes arising from regulatory requirements. You constantly keep abreast of market trends and investor appetite and continue to identify new product ideas.

Requirements
You hold a Finance-related Degree and have 10 years of relevant work experience, ideally including product development. You have sound investment knowledge and appreciation of private markets and alternative investment strategies such as private equity, private credit, infrastructure and real estate. You have strong fund structuring skills and are familiar with various fund structures and relevant legal and regulatory requirements in key markets the Firm has interests in. Your outstanding communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful product launches.
