• Drive strategic and transformation agenda for Public Markets.
• Build an investment services platform that is robust, business aligned and progressive (adopting best practices) for public markets investments. Understand business growth targets to scale investment services platform to achieve long term business needs
• Evaluate current state, identify gaps and propose future state Target Operating Model (including systems, process, data and people for public markets. Build roadmap and transition plan to target state after taking into consideration company’s business needs, governance frameworks, structure and constraints, support in prioritising initiatives, translate and structure roadmap into programs, and execute programs within agreed timeline.
• Lead and provide directions on the TOM Transformation activities and responsible for overseeing the execution and deliverables. Take full responsibility for the completion of the agreed definition of the project, including defining scope and budget, expected timelines, desired business benefits, and identification of project sponsor.
• Continuously identify, drive and lead both strategic change and enhancement initiatives, including ensuring that change is managed effectively, and timely escalation, mitigation and closure of all risks and issues.
• Work in partnership with other units of the company (including business, technology, finance, risks . etc) in all phases of the program from design & initiation, through to closure (including process re-engineering, system and infrastructure enhancement, centre of excellence set up, change management)
• Represent investment services on various company forums (technology, risk, regulations, business etc) and ensure various initiatives are implemented, embedded, monitored to ensure agreed initiatives, objectives and targets are met.
• Ensure investment services unit meets the required company’s business, risk and governance framework and guidelines
• Contribute, along with other leadership team members, to the development of Investment strategy and business plans.
• Actively engage relevant company-wide stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall Company’s direction and objectives.

Requirements:

• Proven track record operating at senior and leadership level.
• Strong investment management industry experience with public markets and private markets domain experience in investment services. Broad exposure in other functions including technology, finance and risk will be preferred given the importance of connecting the dots in driving the build-up of robust and integrated investment services platform.
• Prior consulting / project management background with pr oven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget against a recognised project management methodology.
• Experience in leading an investment services transformational project from development to implementation, coordination amongst various stakeholders, within asset management industry.
• Dynamic, collaborative and highly credible individual who can navigate the company successfully with excellent influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with different stakeholders and motivate and lead a project team, without direct authority, relying on their ability to influence others to drive results.
• Progressive, solutions focused, result oriented, commercial, attention to detail and proactive.
