Your Role

Mighty Jaxx is looking for a Director of Supply Chain who will be responsible for managing our end-to-end Supply Chain. The Director of Supply Chain will oversee the daily operations of the company, ensuring efficient processes and regulatory compliance. This role reports directly to the COO and will oversee Mighty Jaxx's entire global Supply Chain, including Sourcing & Procurement, Production, Logistics, Warehousing, Distribution, and Inventory Management. The Director of Supply Chain will work closely with Finance as well as the rest of our Build teams.


Responsibilities

Sourcing & Procurement

  1. Oversee the sourcing and procurement processes, ensuring cost-effective and quality supply of materials.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
  3. Implement procurement strategies to optimise supply chain efficiency.
Production

  1. Manage the selection and oversight of third-party factories to ensure quality and timely production.
  2. Coordinate with the Build teams and CFO to align production schedules with business demands.
  3. Continuously improve workflows and processes in collaboration with third-party manufacturers.
Logistics, Warehousing, Distribution, Inventory Management

  1. Oversee logistics operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods through third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
  2. Manage warehousing and distribution in partnership with 3PLs to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  3. Implement inventory management systems to track and control stock levels in collaboration with 3PLs.
Team Management

  1. Lead and manage the Production, Logistics, and Procurement Team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  2. Provide training and development opportunities to team members.
  3. Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations.
Operational Strategy

  1. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and regulatory compliance.
  2. Monitor and analyse operational performance metrics, providing regular reports to the COO.
  3. Identify and address operational challenges and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements

  1. Experience in operations management, with a focus on supply chain and logistics.
  2. Proven experience in managing third-party suppliers and logistics providers.
  3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  5. Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365).
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Finance and Build teams.
  8. Experience in toy manufacturing or similar product types is highly desirable.
  9. Experience in managing global fulfillment operations is highly advantageous.
