The Right Profile

We are seeking a "Director of Product Design" to drive product innovation by creating delightful user experience(s). You will lead a global and diverse team of talented designers and work closely with product and business teams to meet company objectives. Responsibilities

  • Manage, grow and empower a team of product designers and researchers distributed across India, Singapore and Hong Kong

  • Bring Thought Leadership from a UX perspective and building key partnerships with Product and Business Stakeholders

  • Ensure design benchmarks/requirements are met across all types of products

  • Deliver customer insights (both qualitative and quantitative data) into forging current and future product strategies

  • Create efficient processes with product designers and researchers to deliver the desired results and coordinate with other departments

  • Ensure design benchmarks/requirements are met across all types of products

  • Guide the team to optimize user-centered design processes within an agile development mindset

  • Create an environment to inspire, push creativity, challenge established thinking, and identify industry best practices for user experience within the team

  • Contribute to the creation of outstanding experiences, incorporating best practices in UX, and creating solid, engaging UX and UI patterns

  • An entrepreneurial spirit, flexible and quick at grasping new topics, and strong willingness to drive innovation

  • Be data-driven and incorporate data analysis, and feedback through testing to validation of concepts and experience paradigm

  • Manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced, changing environment with cross-team dependencies

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in product and design innovation

  • Passionate about design, user experience, and deep empathy for user needs

  • Prior experience in Fintech and/or Wealth tech strongly preferred.

  • Passionate about financial markets and investing/trading

  • Commitment to creating a culture of creativity, self-determination, quality, and psychological safety for a diverse team

  • Empathy and authenticity with mastery over guiding teams through times of growth and scalability

  • Experienced in advanced research methods and are familiar with JTBD/Outcome-Driven innovation

  • Strategic and purposeful in making design decisions by integrating user, business, and technical considerations into your design process. You can identify when to optimize for speed and when to seek quality and hone into the details

  • Effective communicator when articulating your vision, strategy, and decisions of your design solutions
