Director of Operations

Our client, a global leader in providing maritime cargo load handling solutions, is seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead and develop high-performing operations teams across the Middle East and Asia. This critical leadership role will be responsible for overseeing regional maintenance activities, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring the effective execution of service delivery to customers in the maritime industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead regional maintenance operations, including inspections, repairs, and contracted services
2. Collaborate with sales teams to drive growth in service and maintenance agreements
3. Implement digital solutions to enhance service execution efficiency
4. Manage operational cost control and work closely with Finance and HR teams
5. Foster a high-performing and safety-focused team culture
6. Oversee strategic planning and execution of regional operations

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 10 years of management experience in the maritime service industry
2. Proven experience leading operational teams in an international context
3. Strong strategic, analytical, and leadership capabilities
4. Fluency in Mandarin and English to facilitate communication with regional stakeholders
5. Willingness to travel extensively across the Middle East and Asia
6. Singaporean Only
