To be responsible for maximizing the business opportunities within the defined sales territory.
Job Function
To implement all aspects of sales-related activities such as planning, monitoring, and measuring of customers within the defined territory.
To be fully conversant with all products within the group and manage a portfolio of clients within designated market segments to seek business for all hotels.
To establish a network of contacts with sales colleagues in Singapore for business opportunities.
To keep in close touch with the market regarding competitive pricing, promotions, products, etc.
To organize hotel and facilities familiarization tours for clients and potential customers.
To be involved in all sales-related activities like participation in sales roadshows/blitzes and attendance at trade functions, trade shows, and promotions as directed.
To put into motion all sales leads and implement programs to win continued customer loyalty.
To vet the sales reports submitted by sales personnel and consolidate such reports for submission to the General Manager.
To prepare and submit the annual sales budget for management approval and implement the sales budget once approved.
To develop productive sales relationships with all existing and potential customers and manage key accounts effectively.
To manage the sales team within the guidelines established by the group.
To be responsible for the team’s development and conduct people development reviews with the sales team members, identifying training requirements and evaluating the effectiveness of training after implementation.
To exercise all reasonable care in safeguarding the hotel’s proprietary information.
