RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads and manages a department staff supported by a senior managers and managers covering procurement, facilities management, transport, logistics and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) functions for AETOS
Leads the team to support the operations of AETOS to support its vision and mission
Provides strategic directions and oversight of the team ensuring adequate staffing and effective operations to support AETOS’ needs and operations.
Builds, develops, and improves operations, processes, and procedures in the department to support strategic direction.
Participate as the leadership group of AETOS providing strategic input and supporting execution of strategy for the company
Procurement:
Oversees all procurement activities including sourcing, issuance of RFQs or calling of tenders, cost and technical evaluations, vendor evaluation, approval and issuance of PRs/POs, on-time delivery of goods and services, vendor management, vendor performance evaluation, etc
Advises, negotiates, manages, and administers all vendors contracts
Provides direction and guidance on new products sourcing and implementation
Develops strategies to achieve cost savings, prepares yearly purchase budget
Logistics:
Oversee the maintenance and sustenance of a fleet of 200 vehicles covering maintenance and repair, fuel consumption, asset utilization, insurance claims, etc
Oversees events logistical support (transport, meals, ops equipment) for all events that AETOS provide service for
Manages the central store, ensuring sufficient stock to support operation requirements (uniform and accoutrement, tech products, operations equipment, etc)
Asset and Facilities Management:
Oversees the maintenance of all AETOS premises
Manages all leased premises’ tenancy agreements and renewals
Ensures all building statutory requirements are adhered to and statutory licenses are renewed promptly
Oversees all office and site renovations and A&A works
Source and develop new AETOS sites (where necessary)
Sustainability:
Takes on role of Head of Sustainability and Chairperson of AETOS Sustainability committee
Drives and leads sustainability activities in AETOS, including developing and maintaining the sustainability framework and system in AETOS
Lead and Supervise to Achieve BCA Green Mark for AETOS Sites and keeping track of AETOS carbon footprint
Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE):
Oversees the maintenance of all QHSE and ISO system
Lead and develop the team to meet the QHSE requirements and drive the QHSE initiatives and policies
Others:
Takes on role of Chairperson for ISO9001/45001/14001 committee
Lead and drive digitization and digitalization initiatives in the department
Oversee the insurance system in AETOS
Any other tasks and/or duties assigned by Supervisor or Company
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management
Minimum 12 years relevant experience
Sound technical skills especially in procurement, logistics and facility management
Capability to manage and improve operational processes especially with the use of appropriate technology
Strong analytical skills, good judgement with a strong operational focus
Capable of being a team player at the leadership level and also manage a team well
Experience with Sustainability Frameworks, Carbon Reporting, insurance managements, asset management would be beneficial
