Director Institutional Sales ( ASEAN & China)

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Institutional Sales for someone with at least 15 years of experience in servicing institutional investors across the ASEAN and Greater China regions, including long funds, hedge funds, and family offices. In this role, you will lead a sales team, provide expertise in equity research, and play an instrumental role in expanding clients institutional client base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the sales team, focusing on delivering exceptional institutional sales services to investors across ASEAN and Greater China.
• Provide equity research coverage across key markets including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Hong Kong/China.
• Leverage deep knowledge of both ASEAN and Greater China markets to drive business growth.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with long funds, hedge funds, family offices, and other institutional clients.
• Promote and market additional financial products, including structured products, bonds, and derivatives, to meet the diverse needs of clients.
• Work closely with senior management to set and execute the sales strategy for institutional clients.

Requirements:

• At least 15 years of experience in institutional sales, focusing on ASEAN and Greater China-based institutional investors.
• Strong equity research background with coverage of Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Hong Kong/China.
• In-depth knowledge of the Greater China region, with a solid understanding of ASEAN markets.
• Proven experience in managing and developing sales teams.
• Knowledge of additional financial products, including structured products, bonds, and derivatives, is a plus.
• Fluency in both Mandarin and English are required to effectively engage with clients across ASEAN and Greater China.
