The Director, General Medicines Communications & Government Affairs (CGA) is the communications and government affairs business partner to our General Medicines business. As one of our three product areas at GSK, our broad portfolio of General Medicines products, many of them market leaders - make life better for millions of people all over the world.
You will support the SVP, General Medicines Global Product Strategy and be part of the General Medicines Leadership Team.
As CGA business partner to General Medicines leadership team (where needed), you will be accountable for communications about the General Medicines strategy across the internal stakeholders who support our General Medicines portfolio – ranging from commercial and medical to supply chain and tech.
You will also be accountable for leading communications (and where needed government affairs) plans on issues required to support this broad reaching portfolio – which represents 92% of our total medicines and vaccines supply volume and are supplied in more than 100 countries. This will involve issues management and collaborating closely with our CGA people in the relevant markets across the world to lead engagement in support of the new commercial ambition.
You will also partner with our Product & Pipeline CGA team, who are accountable for comms and government affairs related to our pipeline and marketed portfolio, including those assets in General Medicines.
You will be driven, a quick learner and intellectually curious, with a passion for making a difference and enjoy the challenge of working to a high standard on multiple projects and deliverables. You will be commercially savvy, agile, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
