Director, Finance

As the Head of Department, the Director shall:

Responsibilities:

1. Direct and review all periodical financial reports, providing timely and accurate financial data to senior management for decision making.
2. Implement and monitor a control system and/or other accounting quality management system.
3. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, measures, and procedures necessary for proper accounting practices, controls, and services.
4. Plan and prepare annual and long-term capital and annual budgets for senior management’s approval.
5. Monitor the preparation of cash-flow statements, forecast, and interact with banks and other external bodies.
6. Oversee purchasing and store negotiations for best prices without compromising on quality, ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with SOPs.
7. Ensure that Jackpot operations comply with appropriate SOPs in the handling of monies.

Requirements:

1. Degree from a recognized university with an accounting-related professional qualification.
2. 12 years of relevant experience, of which at least 6 years should be in a senior managerial position.
3. Well-versed in various aspects of finance and accounting.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with special proficiency in Excel.
5. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
