Director, Engineering (APAC)
The Director, Engineering will work with a Team of Engineers and Design Project Managers, and is responsible for multiple deliveries in the end to end process of Data Center facilities. In a fast paced and high demand environment, the Director of Engineering’s team supports Real Estate and Market Development with critical input on capacities, cost and risk of new developments. As projects move forward, he/she is responsible for managing the team tasked with design timelines, budget review and business case preparation for new builds and expansions in the region and will manage risk, progress reporting and escalations in reporting to the SVP Engineering. Given the magnitude of this role, the Director of Engineering should have a thorough understanding of Electrical and Mechanical Systems that support Critical Environments. He/She should also be confident and knowledgeable in front of customers and other third parties seeking information on design, reliability and performance of our critical facilities. Lastly, he/she should be innovative as reviewing and optimizing standards and processes in coordination with his/her peer in the other regions globally is continuous. The position is based in Singapore office, and will be required to work in person with our local leadership, while embracing the travel needed to support our growth in the APAC region up to 50%.
