Job description

This is a senior managerial position responsible for achieving the strategic business objectives and supporting business growth across several SAFRAN Tier One Companies including Aerosystems, Cabin Group, Seats Group, and Landing Systems while enhancing and strengthening the relationships with the assigned key airlines and lessors.


Duties:

  1. Develop, maintain and enhance relations between Customers and SAFRAN leadership. Create and facilitate a formal contact plan for relationship-building meetings between SAFRAN personnel and their airline counterparts.
  2. Help to achieve a positive SAFRAN image and recurring business.
  3. Engage frequently and consistently with key customer accounts.
  4. Organize periodic business review meetings, product previews, and demonstrations.
  5. Contribute and support SAFRAN's strategic business growth and objectives by providing accurate and timely information to SAFRAN personnel and maintaining all relevant information about the assigned customer account(s).
  6. Support SAFRAN Aerosystems', Cabin Group, Seats Group, and Landing Systems' annual sales and marketing plans. Where required, support relevant sales teams on intel, relations, and logistics until the closure of bids/tenders/selections.
  7. Provide intelligence and support the Sales teams in RFQs/tender/bids, and bundle propositions that are financially and operationally feasible.
  8. Promote SAFRAN's products and concepts. Identify opportunities and anticipate the future requirements from customer(s). Actively use and maintain the CRM tool to assist internal tracking and management of opportunities.
  9. Act as the primary customer's focal point for all SAFRAN Aircraft Interior inquiries for cabin linefit/retrofit opportunities and other SAFRAN Group companies.
  10. Participate in and host Customers at major industry shows and events.
  11. Assist in the identification of useful business partners that fully comply with SAFRAN Trade Compliance requirements.
  12. Attend, conduct, and host frequent teleconferences and virtual meetings.
  13. Fully support accounts receivable efforts.
  14. Provide timely and accurate reports. Maintain updated information about assigned key accounts.

Skills and Requirements:

  1. 7-10 years' experience engaging commercial airlines in product development or sales efforts. Experience within the interiors segment is preferred.
  2. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with Customers and achieve business growth objectives.
  3. Very good level of English skills (spoken and written) is mandatory; secondary language desirable but not essential.
  4. Effective communicator with multiple stakeholders to achieve desirable outcomes.
  5. Degree in Business/Engineering preferred.
  6. Strong knowledge of digital applications for marketing and sales required.

>50% travel expected.
