Digital Products Engineer (Healthcare Innovation)

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in rapidly prototyping, testing, and scaling digital applications and tools that address complex healthcare challenges. You will embrace a fail-fast, learn-fast approach—building Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to test real-world applicability and scaling successful innovations across our healthcare ecosystem. You will also be the tech consultant for users looking to innovate.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Rapid Digital Product Development:

• Design, develop, and deploy quick prototypes and MVPs for healthcare applications, digital tools, and automated workflows.
• Collaborate closely with clinicians, operations teams, and external technology partners to identify user needs and translate them into scalable digital solutions.
• Implement agile development practices (sprints, CI/CD pipelines) to deliver iterative improvements and test emerging technologies.

2. Evaluate & Optimize Digital Solutions:

• Conduct rapid testing and user validation of new digital products in real-world healthcare environments.
• Use data analytics and user feedback to assess the impact, usability, and feasibility of digital tools.
• Identify opportunities for scaling successful prototypes while sunsetting non-viable solutions efficiently.

3. Deployment:

• Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to integrate validated digital products into existing systems.
• Ensure digital solutions comply with healthcare regulations, security standards, and data governance policies.
• Promote the adoption of the products through various medium.

4. Innovation & Thought Leadership:

• Keep pace with emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML, IoMT, digital therapeutics) to identify new opportunities for healthcare innovation.
• Share insights and lessons learned across the organization to foster a culture of digital experimentation.
• Support consultancies, clinics, workshops, hackathons, and showcases.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 1-2 years of experience in application development and deployment on cloud.
• Proficiency in modern tech stacks (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Flask, FastAPI, Node.js).
• Experience with AWS cloud platform.
• Strong grasp of agile methodologies, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and translate complex requirements into user-friendly digital tools.
• Experience in healthcare or regulated industries is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to be flexible and undertake other non-core tasks.
