Job description

Independent Luxury Jeweller, and B Corp Certified label B.P. de Silva, founded in 1872 along High Street Singapore, has been featured in various projects and media titles globally including prestigious titles such as VOGUE, Harper’s Bazaar and Robb Report. Beyond its discerning network of clientele, celebrities have worn the brand’s high and fine jewellery creations at red carpet galas, most recently at the 2024 Golden Globes.

Now in its 5th Generation, the brand aims to expand its international efforts, and in doing so, B.P. de Silva is establishing a team of seasoned, passionate, and creative marketers with a penchant for building a meaningful and powerful global brand for this generation, and beyond.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Manage the brand’s local and international SEO and SEM efforts.
  2. Conduct market and consumer research, staying abreast of emerging digital trends, tools, and platforms, and implement accordingly.
  3. Perform digital marketing analytics, prepare reports, and share key insights with the team to develop optimisation plans, including managing platforms for outreach and possible international stockist on a monthly basis.
  4. Full spectrum digital ads management, including but not limited to ad buy, conceptualising content, implementing effective campaigns, analysing data, and evaluating campaign performance based on the planned marketing calendar.
  5. Maintain and regularly update the website and other digital company presence, improving overall client web UX.
  6. Inventory management and evaluating sales performance online and in retail locations.
  7. Implement and improve e-commerce SOP and recommend an improvement project on a quarterly basis.
  8. Coordinate with relevant parties and agencies to ensure consistency in marketing strategies across all channels.
  9. Provide marketing team support and ad-hoc support to relevant teams, including but not limited to events support, client relationship management, and retail operations.
  10. Manage global luxury e-commerce operations.
  11. Budget planning and review.
  12. Evaluate and improve ROAS.
  13. Measure, assess, implement, and optimise digital performance metrics.
  14. Lead and collaborate with the company’s digital agencies.
  15. Periodic visits to the Flagship to understand business marketing needs.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  1. A degree in Marketing, Business Management, or equivalent.
  2. Strong understanding of Shopify and proven expertise in e-commerce.
  3. Proficiency in social media platforms and digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics, NetInsight, WebTrends, etc.
  4. Proven expertise in B2C social media, email campaigns, and SEO/SEM (Mailchimp preferred).
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. An eye for luxury branding and a keen understanding of its nuances.
  7. Initiative and resilience.
  8. The ability to prioritise work and complete tasks diligently in a fast-paced environment.
  9. The drive to work well with a team and/or on their own.
  10. The willingness to learn.
  11. At least 2 years of work experience in a relevant field.
  12. Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator.
  13. Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
  14. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Manager or Management.

CANDIDATES WITH AN ADVANTAGE:

  1. Experience in a digital marketing agency.
  2. Prior experience in luxury.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin to deal with Mandarin speaking customers.
  4. Experience and interest in video production and/or video editing tools such as iMovie, Premiere Pro, etc.
