As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Apply the science of nutrition to promote health and well-being, improve the dietary habits and manage various medical conditions of our clients in the community.
• Clinical Nutrition Management:
• Assess and create individualized nutrition treatment plans for clients.
• Monitor and adjust nutrition plans, ensuring the achievement of health goals.
• Provide medical nutrition therapy for nutrition-related diseases.
• Nutrition Education and Health Promotion:
• Plan and implement nutrition education programs for clients, caregivers, and the public.
• Participate in community outreach activities to promote health and well-being.
• Develop and update educational resources for various stakeholders.
• Food Services and Catering Oversight:
• Manage and oversee catering services, ensuring adherence to nutritional and hygiene standards.
• Review and develop menus, including therapeutic diets for specific health conditions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory food standards and oversee food quality monitoring.
• Research and Continuous Improvement:
• Conduct or participate in nutrition research, including evaluating food satisfaction and outcomes.
• Stay up-to-date with clinical nutrition trends and incorporate evidence-based practices into protocols.
• Assist with data collection and contribute to studies aimed at improving patient care.
• Administrative and Operational Duties:
• Assist with budget planning, revenue forecasting, and financial management for nutrition-related projects.
• Review and help develop policies and procedures to improve patient care and achieve cost containment.
• Collaboration and Consultation:
• Work closely with healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition services into multidisciplinary care programs.
• Provide nutrition consultancy to facilities like nursing homes and caterers serving care facilities.

Requirements:

• Degree in Dietetics or Degree in Nutrition with Post-Graduate Diploma in Dietetics or Master’s in Nutrition and Dietetics recognized by the Singapore Nutrition and Dietetics Association (SNDA).
• Relevant clinical experience in healthcare settings with Dietetic services advantageous.
• Registered dietitian at the Singapore Nutrition & Dietetics Association (SNDA) or any recognized Dietitians Association is advantageous.
