Dietitian

The Gentle Group Pte Ltd is a Singapore company which develops and manufactures natural, ready-to-eat puréed moulded food (under the brand of GentleFoods, a registered trademark) that are tasty and easy to swallow. Our company distributes and related health food products as part of sales channel in Asia. These are especially designed with adequate nutrition, appropriate texture for these patients. Our goal is to translate technology into innovative foods that improves people’s health and quality of life. We believe that “Food You Enjoyed Must Always Remain The Food That You Enjoy!” and to “Give back what Life has took out”.

We are looking for a full-time dietitian to work with our R&D team on product development and collaborate with the clinical team to review patients at nursing homes and promote nutrition-related products and services.

Role Description:

Clinical Dietetics

1. Apply nutrition care process to correctly assess, diagnose, plan, implement, monitor, evaluate and document nutrition care for nursing homes assignments.
2. Manage workload effectively and efficiently with safe patient care.
3. Educate patients on healthy eating and managing health conditions through diet.
4. Assess patients’ nutritional needs and create personalized diet plans.

Education, Research & Training

1. Participate in continuing professional development activities.
2. Co-develop or develop nutrition guidelines within the company.
3. Develop health promotion and nutrition education materials.
4. Deliver nutrition talks or workshops to patients, caregivers or community as part of clinical nutrition education or health promotion.
5. Organize community outreach events.

Food Service

1. Deliver therapeutic diet education to Food Service personnel.
2. Liaise and coordinate with Food Service team on therapeutic diet requirements.
3. Where relevant, provide consultation in providing requirements for meal or dish, participate in Food Service audits; participate in menu and recipe development and analysis; and plan a training syllabus.
