Job Objectives

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services, and banking operations. We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure. Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation, and straight-through processing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyse, develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain, and test applications.
2. Develop projects/Change Requests related changes and ensure deliverables are of good quality.
3. Participate in user requirements gathering and provide impact analysis and effort estimation.
4. Develop functionalities to cater for business requirements using MS SQL server, Power BI, and OneSumX product.
5. Design and build the Control-M jobs for batch processing.
6. Carry out unit testing and SIT on the developed functions.
7. Support UAT cycle, troubleshoot issues, and provide bug fixes.
8. Raise remedy tickets for required changes in controlled environments.
9. Migrate deliverables objects using Aldon migration tools to UAT/Production environment.
10. Provide proper documentation for all deliverables.
11. Work with team members, guide junior staff, and take responsibility for the delivery of the code.

Key Requirements:

Education:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
2. At least 6 years’ relevant experience preferably in a Finance Institution.

Essential:

1. Experienced developer with good experience in system integration/interfacing.
2. Assigned to work on specific projects and expected to support the Application Delivery.
3. Manager (ADM) in all relevant technical matters, end-to-end, within the project.
4. Duties may include coding, scripting, building new systems (where necessary), and interfaces.
5. Expected to ensure work is adequately documented and transferred to the production team post-cutover.
6. Work with senior developers and system architect in formulating technical solutions that meet security, regulatory, and architectural standards.
7. Working experience in MS SQL server & Business Intelligence development (WKFS RiskPro product experience is a plus).
8. Experience with RDBMS (Oracle, PL/SQL), WebSphere Application Server (WebSphere, Tomcat), Jenkins/Sonar, Control-M, UNIX/Linux Commands.
9. Proficient with Batch & Power Shell scripting.
10. Good understanding of Data Warehouse and Data Mart concepts.
11. Experience in performance tuning of queries.

Technical Skills:

1. SQL, PL/SQL, MS SQL server & Business Intelligence.
2. Jenkins/Sonar, Control-M, UNIX/Linux Commands.
3. Proficiency with Batch & Power Shell scripting.
