Responsibilities

Our team is part of the core-banking group and is responsible for gathering requirements from other teams for their statements, letters, and reports, and then designing and developing end-to-end batch processing along with the templates.

Key job objectives include:

1. Plan, coordinate, install, develop, implement, and maintain various software applications and organizational information systems.
2. Development, Unit Test, SIT and UAT deployment and support, Production Deployment, and Post Implementation Support.
3. Provide L3 support for related production issues (fix, test and deploy).
4. Develop and maintain simple or complex templates using EngageOne Designer software.
5. Develop or maintain PCEs using DOC1PCE programming language.
6. Clearly and regularly communicate with business stakeholders and technical support colleagues.
7. Design and update software databases/tables, including Software Applications, Data Communication Processes, and User Interfaces.
8. Test, maintain, and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
9. Independently install, customize, and integrate software packages and programs.
10. Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues.
11. Work with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code, and perform unit testing.
12. Identify ideas to improve system performance and impact availability.
13. Resolve complex technical design issues.
14. Develop technical specifications and plans.
15. Analyze user requirements and convert them to design documents.
16. Make good technical decisions that provide solutions to business challenges.
17. Provide comprehensive support to internal customers; achieve resolution to outstanding problems or issues.
18. Compile timely, comprehensive, and accurate documentation and/or reports as requested.
19. Possess up-to-date knowledge of technological developments in the industry.
20. Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers.
21. Possess strong problem-solving and decision-making skills while using good judgment.
22. Multi-task and change from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.

Requirements

1. Overall experience in IT and Banking of at least 8 years.
2. At least 3+ years of experience in Pitney Bowes Software applications such as EngageOne Designer, PCE ing and Vault.
3. Basic knowledge of end-to-end Customer Communication Management solution (from template design up to output management).
4. Good analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate functional specifications to technological solutions.
5. Banking domain exposure is preferred.
6. Full SDLC exposure including application support.
7. Relevant experience in software development using Java and its associated technology stacks like Spring framework.
8. Web application development experience including UI technologies like Angular JS.
9. Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix System; experience in designing and writing end-to-end batch processes using shell scripting.
10. Working knowledge of Oracle database and PLSQL.
