Developer

Alphadyne Asset Management is seeking a Developer to join its Singapore office to develop, enhance and support technology applications and processes required for the trading and operational process of derivative instruments as part of the Technology team. The Developer will assist in all matters surrounding technology application development and support for Alphadyne’s investment and investment operations teams in Singapore. The successful Developer will be self-motivated and possess superior customer service and communication skills. The Developer should be resourceful, organized, capable of working independently with limited direct oversight, and possess strong technical skills.

Primary responsibilities include, but will not be limited to, the following:

• Implementing tactical solutions for market analysis, portfolio management, or operational optimizations
• Interfacing directly with traders to assist in issues such as reconciling valuation and risk
• Participating in global weekly team meetings to review processes, task items and ad hoc projects

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree in financial engineering, computer science or its equivalent;
• Minimum 6 years’ experience on the buy-side or sell-side developing trading, pricing or risk systems for interest rates and FX products;
• Prior experience in a rapid application development (RAD) environment is preferred;
• Expertise in financial engineering, particularly pricing and risk analytics, is preferred;
• Possess strong technical skills in C#, .Net, SQL Server, and Python;
• Experience working with front office and/or risk staff is preferred;
• Strong proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and debugging a large codebase;
• Possess a passion for problem-solving and providing workable solutions;
• Must be self-motivated and exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Proactive individual that is willing and able to lead initiatives and work independently with minimal direct oversight;
• Possess excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, as well as sound judgment to escalate issues as appropriate;
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously;
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
