Desktop Engineer - Up to $3000, East Region

We are looking at a desktop level engineer that has an interest in picking up Group Policy and AD user/computer object management work and software packaging and distribution work.

Responsibilities:

Support Scope
Below mentioned are the minimum guidelines, but not limited to, on the type of supported scope and may increase over a period of time.

• Troubleshooting and problem resolution;
• Administration and Configuration;
• End User Account Management;
• End User Device Hardening and Lockdown;
• Perform software distribution via SCCM to endpoint machines;
• Troubleshooting issues related to Task Sequence, Software and Security Patches deployments;
• Communicate to the users on the new security patch release;
• Coordinate scheduling of security patch deployments.

Supported devices
Below mentioned are the minimum guidelines, but not limited to, on the type of supported devices.

• Desktops;
• Notebooks.

Qualification of Candidate

• Minimum one (1) year of EUCD Support, ICT End User Computing or Service Desk Agent experience with networking and system administration experience as well as exposure in project management in ICT projects;
• Candidate with experience managing Enterprise level Group Policy is preferred;
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills operating Microsoft Active Directory in a large, complex organization;
• Possess excellent communication skills to demonstrate and present the solution to the Customer, and the solution will also be made available for future troubleshooting and analysis recorded in proper documentation;
• Demonstrated Basic understanding of SCCM infrastructure (site server roles, DP servers, boundaries);
• Working knowledge in OSD, Software & Security Patch deployments;
• Knowledge in troubleshooting issues related to deployments via SCCM.
