Desktop Artist cum Pre-Press Specialist

Job Description:

1. Understand and conceptualise customer’s artwork and design requirements.
2. Coordinate with customers on their requirements.
3. Check preliminary and final proofs for errors and make necessary corrections.
4. Plan creative concepts by gathering information and materials.
5. Design, layout, and produce artwork files ready for production.
6. Ensure artwork is ready for production.
7. Ensure timely delivery of design & artwork and strict adherence to work schedules.
8. Manage artworks utilizing various tools including Adobe InDesign, Pitstop, and Prinect system.
9. Use CTP to issue printing plates.
10. Perform quality control checks and proofing of each job.
11. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
12. Perform any other ad hoc duties required by supervisor/manager.

Requirements:

1. Diploma in Graphic Design or equivalent.
2. Good time management and organizational skills.
3. Creative and color sensitive.
4. Teamwork.
5. Experience in a printing company environment.
