Designer (Retail/Office)

Job Summary:

The Designer will be responsible for creating innovative and aesthetically pleasing designs for various architectural and interior design projects. This role involves working on design proposals, preparing tender and construction documentation, and managing projects from concept to completion. The designer will collaborate with clients, vendors, and teams to ensure that the projects meet client expectations and are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create attractive and functional designs and layouts for diverse projects.
2. Work on architectural and interior design proposals, presentations, and space planning.
3. Prepare tender documentation, construction drawings, and material selection plans.
4. Conduct site measurements and develop layout plans.
5. Produce design concept sketches, 3D models, elevations, and detailed drawings.
6. Manage multiple projects efficiently, ensuring deadlines are met.
7. Meet with clients to understand their objectives and deliver on their design vision.
8. Effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure project success.
9. Provide regular progress reports to the director on project and client status.
10. Stay updated on design trends and industry standards to maintain creativity and relevance.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in interior design or a related field.
2. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently.
3. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with a sense of urgency.
4. Proficiency in 3D Max, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and other design-related software.
5. Ability to produce detailed hand sketches is an added advantage.
