Responsibilities

Design & Specifications Management

1. Responsible for the design submission, shop drawings, standard details and calculations.
2. Lead and conduct front end engineering and design works including conceptual and feasibility studies.
3. Review design, specifications & drawings in construction projects to drive cost savings through improvements in construction methods, sequence, and/or material used, and to resolve technical issues during the design and planning stage.
4. Attend technical/design clarification and project meetings with vendors and subcontractors regarding combined services drawings to ensure no conflict.
5. Develop and manage the design approval process with subcontractors, consultants, and clients in a timely manner.
6. Report on design submissions to clients and undertake DAR submissions.
7. Testing and commissioning of high voltage & DC systems, ISCS, and interface management.

Budget & Schedule Management

1. Establish and track the development of design deliverables against procurement schedule and budget, ensuring on-time completion.
2. Identify and highlight any potential design risks or issues that will impact project performance.

Requirement

1. Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering.
2. Minimum 10 years of relevant hands-on M&E experience in the construction industry, LTA projects, mixed development, etc.
3. Familiarity with Singapore codes such as SS638 (CP5), SS650, SS555, etc.
4. Hands-on experience in AutoCAD drawings is preferred.
5. Familiarity with BIM (Revit / Navisworks) is advantageous.
6. Consultancy experience is preferred.
7. Possess effective organizational and follow-up skills, meticulous.
8. Good communication skills.
9. Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner.
