Design Engineer (Manufacturing/Oil & Gas)

Location: Tuas (Only Singaporean might apply)

Salary: S$3,500 SGD - 4,800 SGD

Job Description:

• Design components and assemblies with CAD software. Prepare engineering drawings and engineering bill of materials.
• Analyse, design, develop, and maintain products and assist in their commercialization.
• Review technical documentation including engineering specifications, drawings, calculation packs, bill of materials, guidelines, and repair procedures.
• Check and approve drawings, information, and documentation that meet engineering standards to enable the manufacturing group and other departments to produce and market products.
• Attend and initiate Design and Development Planning and Review sessions to meet customer and industry needs.

Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering in Oil & Gas engineering or related fields, with at least 3 years of product design experience in Manufacturing/Oil & Gas industry.
• Knowledge of API Standards and Monogram.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D design; familiarity with ProE/Creo, Solidworks, CATIA, NX, or similar CAD and FEA/CFD programs is preferred.
• Good oral and written communication and presentation skills in English.
