Job Summary

Devise, develop, prepare material, and present design in assistance to Architect/QP/Director; coordinate amongst stakeholders both internally and externally, and ensure compliance with relevant authorities from inception till calling of construction tender closure. Assist in protecting design authorship during construction till the end of the defects liability period as required.

Responsibilities:

1. Involve in design/design authorship of projects from inception to completion.
2. Create innovative design solutions including conceptualization, preparation of plans/graphics/documentation/write-ups, specifications, and all other project-related materials.
3. Prepare tender documents including drawings and specifications as required.
4. Work with internal & external stakeholders e.g., clients, consultants, contractors, and workers on various design issues, submissions, and the execution of site works.
5. Monitor project progress to ensure projects are carried out within contract agreement and schedule.
6. Attend project/technical/consultant meetings where required.
7. Any other duties as assigned e.g., design competition, research and development.

Job Requirements:

1. Degree/Masters in Architecture from recognized tertiary institutions.
2. At least 3 years of work experience.
3. Professional Architectural accreditation will be an advantage.
4. Good knowledge of architectural practice, installation, and maintenance procedures.
5. Well versed in Autocad, Sketchup, PhotoShop, and Office software.
6. Knowledge of ArchiCAD/Revit is an advantage.
7. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
8. Able to communicate effectively in written, oral, and graphic form.
9. Able to multi-task and manage time effectively.
10. Well versed with Singapore local planning and building codes, by-law, and regulations.
11. Completed the full cycle of building development projects from inception to completion, including construction, contract administration, TOP/CSC, final account, DLP, and final handover will be an advantage.
