Job Description
Set up and manage the Mechanical Department
Interview and recommend appointment of new staff
Disseminate the Company's policy, station's rules and instructions to the staff
Plan and control the Department's budget
Consolidate the training needs of the staff and plan the training
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the training to develop staff competency and multi-skilling
Review the Department's requirements of tools and equipment and maintain proper records
Carry out regular inspection to ensure accountability and serviceability
Initiate purchase or repair when necessary
Implement proper maintenance and overhaul programme on boliers/HRSG/turbine/generator and auxiliaries under his charge for safe operation, high level of reliability and optimum performance
Monitor, schedule, coordinate and control daily maintenance activities for boliers/HRSG/turbine/generator and auxiliaries under his charge
Review of technical submissions and drawings, identify any discrepancies in design, deviation from contract specifications, operation and maintenance requirements
Provide technical support & maintenance activities on Business Development Department's projects as stipulated in the O&M agreement between Tuas Power & other parties.
Eg Tri-generation plants in MSD
Job requirement
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Min 5 years' maintenance experience working in a power plant or similar industrial
Company Transport provided from Choa Chu Kang and Jurong East to Tuas
