Department Manager

Our Client is a leading Japanese entertainment company, producer of collectible card games and trading cards. They are looking for a Department Manager / Leader to join their team.

The Challenges:

1. Oversee the marketing and development of Trading Cards
2. Manage and motivate team members, ensuring that members work to their fullest potential and deliver their assigned tasks with highest proficiency
3. Motivate and inspire team members, fostering a sense of collaboration and accountability
4. Set the team goals within the overall company's goals and objectives
5. Cooperate with the team members to plan and execute on the brand strategies to achieve its the desired goals
6. Manage team’s budget
7. Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders to drive projects forward

What it Takes:

1. Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any field
2. At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or management position
3. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
4. Proactive and has good decision-making skills
5. Adaptable and innovative, with a problem-solving attitude
6. Excellent at schedule management and multitasking
7. Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
8. Open to work on some weekends/public holidays for Company events
9. Open to travel overseas for business trips when required
